I am a person who likes to change my house feel all the time. Recently I updated my living room with all new furniture which meant with that change, everything on the walls had to follow suit. I spent quite a bit of time online searching for the perfect wall art. One thing I learned is that if you want to frame a 6 dollar poster, you are going to dish out over 100 bucks. WHAT...a rip off.
During my search I came upon the "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster. I am not someone who lets stress slide ...

I wore a lot of hats in my job at AOL Music. One of the most fun was being the music director for all of the pop music genre stations on AOL Radio. Basically this meant that I picked every song on every station (a little over 20), how many times they played and I was able to create new stations. This was right up my alley. So HOW am I going to get this site to work? That's a very good question. I know HOW I want it to work, I know how I want people to interact with it, but it's the technology needs that are going to be the biggest mountain to climb.
If I want to keep this an automated site instead of publishing html for every company and every comment made, I need to wrap my head around the type of technology used by the current ratings sites I have been looking at to create this idea. Scripts to learn, boo...
Rate My Company: The Concept

My plan for 'Rate My Company' was born, not from other professional networking sites, but actually from back in the day during the first college degree when everyone would flock to Rate My Professors to figure out who to sign up for and who to avoid class wise. A little over a year ago I went through my first job search in 5 years after I decided I wanted to relocate back to Connecticut. Finding a fitting job was a full time job in itself, but deciphering through the masses of junk in websit...

As I note in the video, I took 3 of the class articles that I felt intertwined. Are blogs legitimate marketing materials? What constitutes as successful blogging or the rules of the road and just how exactly does this work with the content consumption?
